President Buhari Confirms Bello-Koko’s Appointment as NPA boss

Bello-Koko has been announced as the substantive Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).
The new NPA MD was appointed on Acting capacity to replace the out- gone MD, Bala Usman who was suspended by the supervising Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi for alleged misconduct and insubordination.
The ratification of Bello – Koko as the MD NPA, follows a pronouncement by the President and Commander in Chief of the Armed forces, President Muhammadu Buhari.
This was made public via a press statement by the Federal Ministry of Transportation, on 15 February, 2022.
The new fire brand MD NPA has worked assiduously to continue with the programmes of his predecessor and has also tacitly pursued other programmes that have not only enhanced the image of the NPA but also those that will make the Agency function seamlessly.
Before his appointment as MD NPA, Mohammed Bello-Koko was the Executive Director, Finance and Administration at NPA. His appointment takes immediate effect.
