Compt Sani : Bringing fresh impetus to bear at Murtala Mohammed Airport Command

Obviously, Comptroller Mohammed Sani Yusuf, the current Customs Area Controller CAC) of Murtala Mohammed Airport Command (MMAC), is bringing intelligence and fresh impetus to bear in operations of the Unit.
Compt Sani, who assumed office recently as the substantive CAC of NMAC is already rejiging the modus operandi of the Command to enhance greater productivity.
According to him, his aim is to work in tandem with the vision of the Comptroller General of Customs, CGC Hameed Ali, in promoting economic growth and development.
As such, Compt Sani is already working tirelessly to curtail influx of prohibited items into the country through his area of responsibility.
Thus, looking at his career, the story of Compt Sani is just like that of a man whose life is embedded in fate and destiny. With his peregrination in the Nigeria Customs Service, he has been an ascending Customs Officer, who is a catalyst to the progression of the organization in service delivery.
As a game changer, he was able to transmit transparency, which generated humongous collection of revenue for Nigerian government.
Since his enlistment into the Service, he has curved a niche for himself, as an outstanding Customs Officer with great reputation in the service.
There is no doubt, he has etched his name in the annals of history of the Nigeria Customs Service with his wild wind performance.
At every point on the line of duty, he leaves his footprint with his gigantic and humongous performance and has left no one in doubt as to his mission of absolute dedication to the service of his father-land.
Compt Sani became more famous when he was made the Coordinator of Customs Strike Force Zone ‘A’, Lagos, which was due to his outstanding performance.
When he held sway as the Officer in Charge of the CGC Strike Force, “Zone A” he made spectacular seizures, collected millions of Naira as revenue for government through issuance of Demand Notices (DNs), among other remarkable feats.
The indefatigable Customs Officer was able to block all revenue leakages and suppressed smuggling activities, which made the business unattractive to economic saboteurs. With his whirlwind performance, he was able to raise the revenue bar for the Nigeria Customs Service to achieve its target in revenue generation for the organisation.
His efforts was rewarded, as he was promoted recently to the rank of a substantive Comptroller of Customs, with more challenging task. As Mohammed Sani Yusuf was promoted to full Comptroller of Customs, it gave him the inclination and tendency to increase and intensify his performance as he was assigned to MMAC.
He is currently putting measures in place to promote ease of doing business and trade facilitation in line with the Executive Order of the Federal Government. He is a dedicated Officer with great potentials. The top Customs Boss has put plans and priority in place that will aid and guide his men to hit their set target in revenue generation, and working in line with the transformation agenda of the CGC.
Compt Sani has also mapped out strategies that will correct the short-comings of the Command and further redirect his efforts, so as to stay on track at all times.
With his administrative acumen and professional dexterity, Compt Sani has become a role model and outstanding Officer regardless of the economic meltdown, as he keeps charting a common course for the upswing and welfare of his Officers and stakeholders for a more transparent trade facilitation.
