Compt. Olu Adebisi: New Rank Comes With New Responsibility, Commitment And Loyalty
The Administrative Complex of FCT Area Command, on 11 January 2024, was filled with joy and celebration as the newly promoted officers were decorated and celebrated by their families, fellow colleagues, and friends.
The Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Olu Adebisi, during the ceremony, congratulated the newly promoted officers and stated that promotion is a big deal because it comes from God.
He appreciated the Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adeniyi MFR dsm fnipr psc(+) and the Customs Board for finding the promoted officers worthy of promotion. He charged the officers to redouble their efforts and see their promotion as a call to higher responsibility.
He further stated: ‘’ New rank comes with new responsibilities, new commitments and new loyalty”.
At the occasion, three Chief Superintendent of Customs (CSCs), three Superintendent of Customs (SCs), four Deputy Superintendent of Customs (DSCs), one Assistant Superintendent of Customs I (ASCs I ), four Assistant Superintendent of Customs II (ASCs II) and three Inspector Of Customs (IC) were decorated with their new ranks.
In conclusion, he said FCT Area Command is privileged and blessed with the promotion of two Comptrollers of Customs, four Assistant Comptrollers, three Chiefs Superintendents of Customs, among others.
